Do I need the subscription to make a picture book?
No. A picture book is $3.99 per book on any plan, including Free. The subscription is only for people whose children keep asking for new stories.
What counts as a story?
Each new story you write, including a sequel. Rewording a story you already have, redrawing a picture, or reading it again costs nothing.
What happens after my three free stories?
They stay yours to read and to turn into picture books. When you want a fourth, Stories is $5 a month, and you can cancel the next day if that is all you needed.
When do I pay for the picture book?
After you have read the story and seen your cast painted on the cover. The $3.99 illustrates the remaining pages, once, for that book.
Can I get a refund?
A printed copy that arrives damaged or misprinted is reprinted or refunded. The terms have the full wording for digital purchases and subscriptions.
